The Assessment process.

The process starts by you filling out a very complete medical history. You will be mailed a copy of this form for your records.

Next a TCM based evaluation for will be filled out.

Thirdly, measurements of specific somatic landmarks from the top of your head to the soles of your feet (front, back and sides), standing and lying down will be taken. These measurements will be documented on a form and you will be sent a copy. Photos may be taken. Men will wear shorts or a bathing suit, women a two piece bathing suit or bikini.

You will be observed (and in some cases, measured) standing, sitting and walking. Photos and/or video may be taken.

The findings and observations will be assessed by the therapist and discussed with you. Depending on the results, you may be referred to a doctor for x-rays, or to another health care provider for further evaluation.

Based on the initial assessment, a possible course of treatment will be outlined.
